Silymarin, Silibinin A name: Silibinin; silybin; Silymarin Group; 2,3-dihydro-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl) -2-(hydroxymethyl) -6-(3,5,7-trihydroxy-4-oxobenzopyran-2-yl) benzodioxin; silybum marianum; silybum Extract, a natural flavonoid Lignan compound, its main ingredients are silybin, isosilybin, Silydianin and Silychristin. Silymarin is insoluble in water, soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, methanol, and slightly soluble in chloroform.
Function Of Milk Thistle Extract
One of the key ways in which silymarum extract enhances the clearance reaction is to prevent glutathione depletion. As a significant auxiliary agent, antioxidant and cell protective agent in the liver, the content of glutathione skin is closely related to its ability to protect itself and clear away harmful compounds. Glutathione skin concentrations in the liver are significantly reduced when exposed to chemicals that can damage the liver, including alcohol. Reduced glutathione levels predispose liver cells to damage.
Water fly extract may not only prevent glutathione depletion caused by alcohol and other harmful chemicals, but also increase glutathione levels in the liver of people with normal liver function by 35% . Because the ability of the liver to clear the body is related to the level of glutathione in the liver, studies have shown that even in healthy people, silymarum extract may increase the clearance reaction by up to 35%
